SCI FI HALLOWEEN COSTUMES - For Your Dog
65
I Just Had Too!
So my little girl told me to go to Google images and check out some really funny pet costumes for Halloween! I could not stop laughing and since I am a BIG Sci Fi fan, I just had to put some of these up here! I mean who could refuse a "3" headed dog? ha
Now this is the silly side of me and I will dedicate some of my "silly comments" under each photo to someone who I miss here on hubpages dearly. He was hilarious with his comments that he used to place under each photo that he displayed.
So I know that there are a lot of pets in parades now. I saw quite a few dressed up for the 4th of July parade in my home town. Infact they have special parades just for owners and their pets around various holidays now. What could be more fun then dressing up your little friend and taking him or her for an adventure! If you have kids, they would love to show off their other family member! Our family dog is Zoe, a five year old Golden Retriever and we used to dress her up like a reindeer at Christmas. She had her bells on her neck and her antlers and she was ready! I'm thinking this three headed doggy costume would do well this Halloween! I sure hope she does not chew one of her heads! I mean this is a dog that never left a doggy bed alone! Pet toys in her presence become shreds and small unrecognizable trinkets.
I'm also liking this spider costume but would probably work better on a black dog. Just seems to work that way although I am sure it would look cute on any dog. My son would probably pick the Star Wars costumes, the shark or the alligator. Boys!!!!!
For many years I never took our dog trick or treating but now that she will be decked out in style, it will make the night even more fun!!! Can you imagine? People will probably have to hand over doggy treats too! We can create a whole new holiday this year!!! Amen!!!
The point is that it is nice to include your pets on holidays as well as in your outdoor activities. Pets get lonely too especially if they are left at home alone a lot. Hey, I can really get into this! Maybe I will get Zoe some "work out gear!!!" ha ha
HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Great fun costumes and great photos of those dogs - boy are they tolerant animals or what? Fantastic!
A doggie Darth -- how creative. It may also help that the dog in the Darth outfit resembles the dog from MIB.
It’s a dog’s life to pander to your supposed owner, how do we turn that round. My fantasy is costumes for those damn owners, hey wait a minute we’ve already done that, dressed them up as odd and forsaken animals…ha…..got the jump on them and they don’t even know it. Looks its difficult enough being a dog, can you chase a cat or a rabbit (if you’re a Whippet) , and EATING dog food…yuck, where did all the French doggie food go…..and more your just trying to turn us into bandit dogs, holding up banks wearing silly masks so no one can identify us later. Come on owners say NO to costumes and save on CLIMATE CHANGE as everyone knows sheep fart a lot and add to Carbon Dioxide pollution, there’s some in my back paddock now. Dogs rise up and protest and make the world a doggier place to live!!!! Good hub, Cheers Ausseye.
Getting dog gone silly: Hummmm that’s silly, trying to make costume characters out of us dogs. Gees we are so tolerate of these, so called, owners so that we can treat them down the track. We feel rather sorry for our patients but we are respectable and patient animals, ready to act the character so we can keep our owners clam and happy. Kindness and love is our key therapy and its seems to work as many, many of our patients go through life feeling in control while we of cause are the driving forces. The FOOL is always in empathy with the basic instinct. Don’t you think we dogs do it well????
